I am such a self help junkie!! I'll happily admit that too, nothing to be ashamed of! More like something to be proud of, right?
One of my main resources for bettering myself are Podcasts, along with books, documentaries, inspiring humans, workshops, etc.
I listen to them whilst driving, cooking, cleaning and commuting on public transport. It's like learning on the go and guess what they are all FREE. So there really are no excuses. If you are not podcast obsessed like me then I urge you to download some that I mention below and give them a go. Or alternatively if you are like me I hope you enjoy these and please comment with your favourites, I am always looking to deepen my knowledge! It was hard to narrow it down to 5.
So I thought I would share with you all my top 5 podcasts that I can't live without.....
Here they are:
Up for a chat is at the top of my list, because it is the first podcast I ever downloaded and the 3 lovely ladies have played a huge role in my health journey. Cyndi O'mera is a Nutritionist, Carryn Smith is a Mindset wellness expert and Kim Morrison is an Aromatherapist. They are all about challenging the norm and who agrees we need more of that in the world?
Listening in feels like you are sitting next to them on the couch. Having a laugh, a deep and meaningful conversation and most importantly feeling supported along your journey towards optimum health. I met Cyndi last year at her launch of What's with Wheat (a must watch if you haven't seen it) and I was so nervous, she is such an inspiration to me.
“Why live an ordinary life, when you can live an extraordinary one?” Tony Robbins
Pretty much sums up why I love tuning into Tony Robbins. He talks strategies in achieving massive results in your business, relationships, health and finances. I watched I am not your Guru (Tony's documentary - highly recommend!) and had so many ah ha moments, I have been listening to him ever since. As they say "don't reinvent the wheel" if you don't have to. Tony shares all of his tried and tested strategies, all you have to do is tweak them to suit you and your goals.
Connie Chapman is such a gentle soul, who you just want to be your friend. Connie is a passionate coach, writer & speaker and we are so lucky she shares her light with the world. She shares practical, yet soulful ways to get clear and move away from struggle, fear and limitation ensuring you live with more fulfilment, freedom and flow. (and who doesn't want more of that? YES please!)
I have so many ah ha moments whilst listening to Connie share all of her wisdom, I like having a pen and paper handy, although sometimes I just listen to them on repeat (especially the one on releasing expectations you have on others)!
These next two have only just launched this year (2017) and they are both WAY to good not to include.... and to think they have only been out a few months! (watch out world)
Julie is the absolute goddess behind The Priestess Podcast and the Beautiful You training academy I did my Life Coach training through. This podcast focuses on all things femininity, which I find so SO empowering. It also helps that Julie has the most pleasant voice to tune in to.
Julie interviews and holds space for other power house women from around the globe, all of whom are living in tune with their intuition and creating a powerful shift in consciousness. It is SO beautiful and you can't help but feel inspired, loved and exactly enough as you are after each episode.
I have followed Melissa Ambrossini since the very beginning of my holistic health and wellness journey, she has now written a book, has book 2 on the way and has recently launched this podcast.
Melissa interviews some real game changers who help shift your mindset, propel you into action, reignite your spark and fuel your body and soul. Their passion is infectious and every episode is super inspiring.
There you have it, 5 of my favourite podcasts I tune into allllll of the time. Give me a podcast over the radio any day! Please let me know if you love them or if you have a recommendation for me.
I just want to leave you all with this quote...
